COVID-19 Health, Safety, & Flower Delivery Update (05.16.20)

Yes, We Are Still Delivering Flowers!

The fresh flower supply chain isn't something you think about during this pandemic, but its complexities are vast and the effect COVID-19 has had on the floral industry is profound if not crippling. As the global guidelines change and safety measures are improved, growers around the world are back in business but flowers aren't manufactured and mother nature takes the time she needs. It will take months to return to a normal supply-demand balance. In the meanwhile, please understand that many flowers aren't available and that, although everything that comes in our door or out is fresh and beautiful, substitutions are more than likely to be used in most every design on our site.

Despite the uncertainty of COVID-19, we expect to continue to deliver the same level of service and excellence to our customers. We are here to serve you and continue to operate safely and effectively.

At Nature's Corner Florist, we want to assure you that we are taking every precaution possible to ensure the health and safety of our customers, their friends and loved ones, & our own family.

We are closely monitoring the situation and adhering to all CDC protocols and guidelines. We regularly sanitize all work stations, shared spaces, delivery vehicles, and products. Although the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have no reports of human illnesses that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by packaging, food, or fresh products like flowers, we remain vigilant in working to ensure safety remains our top priority.

The following changes have gone into effect:

  • Elimination of the “hand-deliveries” requirement.
  • Drivers will notify recipients of delivery and leave the gift at the door.
  • Pick-up orders will be delivered curbside.
  • Business orders will be dropped at the front desk.
  • Most nursing homes & both hospitals are no longer allowing deliveries of any kind until further notice. Call for more info.
  • Most funeral homes are offering online streaming funeral services and flowers are still permitted.
  • As long as our flower supply remains readily available, we will continue to help our customers in any way possible.
